Josh, My name is Jon, I've been jammin to you guys since 1984 when I was 8. I cannot explain the feeling I get when I hear your music. God definately is in your music. Recently I bought the c.d "The Perfect Life" even though it says SAINT on it I can't help but miss that grinding voice of yours. Why didn't You guys all get together for that album, or better yet why didn't you get together for "In the Battle" Granted it is smokin (I just recieved it in the mail) But I think it would be awesome to see on a new Saint album JOSH KRAMER, RICHARD LYNCH, DEE HARRINGTON, JOHN MAHAN And JOHN ''THE MACHINE'' PERRINE. Do you ever see that happening or did you guys have sort of a falling out? Please clerify. Love in Christ  Jon - PS If there is any way to buy an old concert video or music video from you guys please let me know, I would love that.

Hey Josh, I recieved your e-mail to check out your new sample it rocks!!! I can't wait to get it..  The first thing that popped in my mind when I first heard that sample was Stryper's " Loud-n-Clear" song also starts with a scream,I love the bass line really deep. When that comes out will I be able to order that online???   You must come to Minnesota and rock us live!! bring another band with ya too like White Cross or Barron Cross hey how about Delieverance..oooo what a show that would be. Ok thanks for reading  -Head banger for life  -Darren

From the sound clips I've heard so far, all Saint fans around the world should be firing up those Bic lighters after one listen to the new material! You guys really stayed true to the genre and to the sound that made you who you are. Later bro, -- Ross

Josh   Wow!!!! I was not expecting an e- mail from you. You guys RULE dude. I got your new album "In The Battle" funnily enough when I was in Hospital earlier this year.  My old band Lightforce was on Pure Metal with our '88 release Mystical Thieves. When I heard Warriors of The Son & Time's End I was blown away. I think the new album is fantastic. The band was not the same without your vocals with the '99 EP. You remind me of Rob Halford. Hope that is ok? Think he is an awesome vocalist. With Lightforce I did 2 albums in the late 80's. Through varoius lineups Mortification has done 12 studio albums & 2 live since 1990. I started a label in '94 called Rowe Productions supporting new Christian Metal Bands. By mid '96 it was a very successful Indy label. That stopped late that year when I was diagnosed with Luekaemia. The label is pretty much stuggling now as I am with my health. But I am alive by a miracle & have seen my son grow up which os great. I have still toured alot around The World even since Leukaemia.   Been to the US & Euro several times & also played in Mexico, chille, Argentina, Brazil, New Zealand, South Africa & of course Australia where I live. Was given 2 hours to live twice after having a bone marrow transplant in Feb '97. The Docters said I was gone in June '97 & agaibn in April '98. I live with the internal scars but by God's grace I am still here to proclaim His name. we are probably playing with Stryper, Sav Machine & Narnia in Mexico City in November. Was planning with Rowe Productions to make a home for Christian Metal. An honest fan based home. But Luekaemia killed that. Had a dream to sign The Classic bands such as yourselves as people reformed. i was well on track to building a credible Christian Metal label where the bands were not only understood but also treated fairly and paid well. Have worked with mainstream labels Nuclear Blast (Germany) 10 albums & Metal Blade (US) 3 albums. Both were awesome and paid everything fairly & the understanding of big fan based labels is amazing.  The mainstream people I have worked with have all been so honest. Anyway nuff said. God is good & I continue as best I can. I work in partnership with soundmass.com They are the ones with the awesome site. Mort is Indy at the moment with our latest release. May be doing some interviews for Doug Van Pelt from HM soon. Would you be interested in doing an interview? Well maybe one day we could meet up? That would be great. I feel a rise in popularity of Traditional Christian Metal once again. Maybe a Saint/ Mortification US tour? That would be a dream come true! A co headlining Metal for Jesus US tour!  Please write back. I am a true fan of Saint from the begining. Blessings Steve

I appreciate the e-mail back in responce to my earlier e-mail.i heard the sound bite you sent and have ordered off your site the new Warriors of the Son cd, I also ordered the basement tapes. Pleasae tell me you are going to go on tour to support this album. If not to support the album then just to minister to the millions of metal heads that could learn about the lord from a source that I originaly learned from. (Josh replies) dude, we're going to tour,   just exactly when totally depends on our album sales which is fuel for the bus.

Now indulge me in a neat little story I have to tell. I met a freind that i do plumbing work for. He is originaly from Belarus, Russia. He came to this country in 1994. He grew up in communist Russia. So as a result he was never taught about Jesus and his saving grace. When communism fell over ther he decided to move to the US and see what all the fuss was about this great country. He learned that he could do almost anything he wanted here and succeed. But something was missing in his life. He met some people who started to tell him about this wonderful God we call Jesus and the love He has for us all. well one thing led to another and he accepted the Lord as his savior. I did not know this at first but i knew something was different about him. As i was working with him he always played Russian artists on the cd player we have at the construction sites. Of course I didnt understand a word they were singing because it was in russian. Come to find out they were Christian groups singing about the Lord. So i told them about some of the groups I listen to. We now play all christian music as we work and have a good ole time while we work fellowshipping and praising the Lord. They are not metal heads like i am but have come to enjoy the music because of the message delivered by such bands as Saint, Messiah Prophet, Philidelphia, Rez Band, Daniel Amos, Daniel Band, and Jeruselem. These are all bands i listen to and have listened to for at least 20 years. So again I thank God for sending you and these other bands my way as a ministery tool for others.  If you are going on tour please notify me if you are coming near Albany ny. If so I shall surly be in the front row. The Lord knows i have been waiting 20 years to see you guys in concert.  The Love Of the Lord be with you,  Bob  (Josh replies) bob, i enjoyed your personal testimony of christ and the music thing so much i want to forward it to  our wall of fame saint fan mail site called, "mr saint fan"  thank you for sharing it with me.  show this letter to security at our show and they will notify us you are there and will be given a back stage pass to visit and pray with us before the show....god bless you bob!

Hi Josh, Greetings and blessings from Britain!! Hope this finds you well. I just wanted to mention a couple of things..... can I order 'Warriors' through you to get it signed too?? I have just started drumming with our worship band @ church. Could you remember us in your prayers for real spritual worship to erupt in our church please? And lastly, I want to wish you a very peaceful and wonderful Christmas and New Year. You're a blessing bro & I hope you know it! laters, Brendan

Josh, Last night I got my promo copy of "In the Battle." DUDE!!! This is the album that metal really, really needs this year. I gotta tell ya... I have been MAJORLY stressing for the last couple of weeks over this whole house-searching-and-getting-married situation, and this album is just what the doctor ordered... Man, you guys are truly legends! I'll have my review posted at Christian Metal Mayhem late tomorrow night... Congrats, bro... this album totally reaffirms why you're my all-time favorite vocalist by a million miles! Ian (Read more from Ian at http://www.christianmetalmayhem.com/)

Many years ago in my youth, I was a big Judas Priest fan and christian rock was just a couple of lame Stryper ballads on MTV.  As a friend turned me onto the Lord some years later I hoped there was some good christian metal I could listen to.  Not just good music, but also great lyrics to strengthen me in my journey.  My first christian CD was Petra - On Fire.  Wow, it still is one of my favorites.  I then saw a website that had a double disc compilation of this band called Saint.  I'm sure you get a lot of comparisons to Rob Halford, but all I can say is his CD's are gathering dust and I have several Saint CD's sitting in my car.  I missed you guys the first time, but I am so glad you're back.  I loved your earlier stuff and your new stuff is even better, just awesome.  Keep pumping those albums out.  Is a new one coming soon?  and now a couple of things, is there a DVD in the works? perhaps of some concert footage?  I don't know if you'd ever be able to make it Detroit, but a DVD would be the next best thing.  Also, it's too bad it didn't work out with John Mahan.  I was looking forward to it.  Awesome guitarist.  I even had a great band name for you guys, "Hammer of God".  Perhaps it will work another time, God willing.  I'm praying for you and the guys.  I hope you've been blessed as much as you've blessed us.  You've helped more people than you will know.  Keep up the good work, well done.  God bless, Eric    eric, thank you.   yes we are working on the next project and we'll go full swing this summer in final process.  contact rich lynch for saint products.  thank you for your great letter.  it was so nice i sent a copy to my webmaster.  we delete email addresses.  if this is ok to post this letter please let me know.  the links below go directly to my websites,  no pop up ads.  god bless you.. ...josh,,,hjk   Hi Josh, this is Eric.  You can use the letter.  Thanks for replying to me.  It meant a lot to me.  Best wishes, Eric

Josh, Thanks so much for your immediate involvement.  It wasn't expected but is appreciated.  I am a long time fan of Saint... (first started listening in Jr. High back in the mid-eighties) and really am looking forward to hearing your new/newer music.  Sorry for hitting the panic button about your website.  I just became concerned when the Paypal ID number wasn't recognized by your sales associate.  I feel that everyone involved has done a great job in communicating with me and responding to my email much more promptly than I would have guessed.  I just want to make sure it is clear that my emails (including this one) were not complaints, merely a notification of the non-arrival of my order and then, a little bit later, some concern over the Paypal number not being recognized.  I remain a happy and satisfied customer and a big fan of your music.  I find the lyrics of many Saint songs to be convicting, challenging, and inspiring... of particular note being the album Too Late For Living which I have been listening to lately.  Also I enjoy how the music style of Saint varied somewhat on those three albums in the eighties (including your vocal style).  I would say all three styles are worth revisting on newer albums and (noting that I haven't heard your newer CDs) would also love to hear new variations you might come up with.  Thanks again for your prompt involvement.  I plan on emailing Jeff and thanking him as well for the same thing.  And thanks for rocking for the Lord. Mark  ---- hi mark,  i am a "buck stops here" kind of guy. customer satisfaction is #1 priority.  thank you for letting us know your concerns and appreciation.  I sent a copy of your letter to be posted in our mr saint fan site. please send your maialing address so that I can send you a free copy of the way beyond the basement tapes, (it's on the house.)  josh

Hi Josh! Wow, THANK you! Just listening to "7th trumpet", which really blows me away. How Priest'ish this sounds - and your voice is truely amazing!! Can't wait to hear this in the album context!!  By the way: I wrote a review to the "Josh Kramer"-Live-Disc: http://www.sacredmetal.de/index.php?page=reviews/pusmetal/joshsaint2006 and "Reapin The Flesh" is fantastic, too! Pounding drums, forward-guitars and your shrieking vocals. When the rest of the record is as good as this it will be a highlight of the year!!  Another thing:  You offer a Saint-collection of the first records - can I get it through you directly? Via paypal maybe?  Talk to you soon, Michael

(Josh:) so did the discs arrive? Hi Josh, Yes, they did arrive. Thank you very much. Thanks as well for autographing the live disc. Already have written the review for the Live 05 CD. Have not heard the MP3 disc yet. Need to take that one to work and listen to it. I recently got hold of your Live in Germany live disc as well. Have only heard it once. Sounds musically very good. Thought it odd that there were gaps in between the songs, but I am not sure if that wasn't my car CD player acting up. Need to check it on my home stereo. Really looking forward to getting your new studio Cd. Will be purchasing 2 copies from your site ASAP.  Can you also sell wholesale for resale? Ultimatum have a distribution list on-line and we would love to sell copies of your new CD. Let me know. - Scott german live......nope, there are gaps....bless jurgans heart for trying.  he probably forgot to select no pause between trax....oops....hjk

Hey Josh,
I'm really digging "The Mark". I think it's your heaviest yet. "The 7th Trumpet" blew me away. Reminds me a bit of "Painkiller"-era Priest. Sweet!!!! Very heavy songs with a nice mixture of fast and mid-paced parts.
So when is Ultimatum and Saint gonna do a show together? - Scott ---- rich is the guy to talk to about tour schedules.  saint would be happy to sell whole sale to your distro.  rich is the man to discuss this as well.  you guys sound great.  I like your album too.  keep on.....god bless...josh...hjk

Hello Mr. Kramer, I am a HUGE Saint fan. Pre-ordered "The Mark" and cannot wait for it to come in the mail. I have been a fan since "Time's End" Unfortunately, I lost my "Pure Metal" cassette years ago.. On the good side, I now ave "The Collection" on CD so now I can hear those great songs any time I want.  Quick question for you... You mentioned a "Tennessee Drawl".. So is that
>your home state? I had no idea. Just wondering what part of TN.  My wife and I are from Knoxville but now live in Panama City, Florida. We go back to the mountains of East TN when we have the time.  Anyway, wanted to say HI and can't wait for The Mark!  Take care & God Bless, Mike ----
Rich is going to begin a new series of remastered and better sounding re-issues of the old albums.  Write to him for details.   http://www.saintsite.com.   In an answer to fans questions about the Tennessee accent, I picked up the slight drawl while living there for almost 10 years in Nashville. It's more of an influence than a drawl.  Scott Wenzel and I bumped into each other while painting a house. He's almost as good of a painter as me.  I love the summers there except for the tornados which I've seen. Terrifying! Winters there suck! Ice storms, 30 degrees and snowing one day and 70 the next.  Weird. But there is a magic about the place that makes great music....josh

Hi from a new Saint Fan "Full Armor" sound byte sample - Josh, I just found it and listened to it. I like it. Are all the vocals yours?  I love the harmonizing on it. Very good. I'm gonna keep this one in my playlist as well. I really like it. Thanks for sharing these songs with us.  Wow... I am blown away.. I love the new song. It is awesome. I love the part right after the accoustic opening. This is going to be one my most anticipated releases in 2004. It is at the top of my "to buy" list.  Thanks again for putting out such an awesome song, and I can't wait to hear the whole album. I can see why David (WashesWhiterThan) was so excited about this. Thanks, Jeff

hi jeff. check out  http://www.saint777.net  then go to "about saint" page. there you'll hear a sample of the new album. please let me know what you think. thank you for writing that very uplifting note! god bless....josh

Whats up dude!    So how's everything going bro.  I still can't tell you how excited I am about the new album.  I just know its gonna rock!  Metal is awsome.  Especially when It has a Godly message.  I gotta ask ya man, how in the world do you hit those notes!!  I mean, I can remember hearing the Too Late for Living album for the first time and just thinking "How does he do that?!"  And then I listened to Full Armor and you still got it bo.!  I don't know how you do it man but it rocks!  There's nothing like a good ol' 80's scream!  I'm still blown away by your beautiful guitar playing at the beginning of Full Armor,  and then the way the crunch just kicks in!  I'm tellin ya man, if you guys come down here I am gonna be first in line!  I'll have to let you know your in my area that way you can put me on the backstage pass list.  I really do hope I get to meet you man.  Well bro. I gotta get going.  Take it easy. God bless:-)  See ya! Your friend and brother in Christ, and of coarse biggest fan, -Larry

Josh, I just pre-ordered the new CD I hope I don't have to wait too long to hear it.   I never got the chance to see Saint live back "in the day" hope I get the chance soon.   When I was a in middle school, I had a Time's End shirt I wore to school a lot.  One day, A classmate asked if Saint was a metal band I said yes they are.  He said he wanted to hear some of your music so I gave him an extra copy of Time's End I had.  When I asked him what he thought about the album he said, " They're a cool band ."  He also said he noticed "something different" about the lyrics he couldn't quite figure out yet.  I told him to keep listening and ask me any questions he might have.  I don't know for sure, but I hope a difference was made in his life because I  Introduced him to Saint.  Sorry for being so long winded.  Take care Bro. Tim

Josh...  I just searched through the CMR a bit, and found three Saint threads on the first page.  One was started by me called "Speaking of Saint...", one is about the 2005 Live album, and one is called "Warmachine and Saint..." and is a thread of questions about the new Saint release.  I'll see if there are some others that I can find.  Take heart, my friend, as there are a lot of us that are fans out here!  Remember, you guys had 3 albums in the Top 100 Christian Albums of All Time Poll last year (a poll that is being updated this year, by the way...) and In The Battle was voted the number 3 metal release of 2004...including secular releases!  You finished third behind Megadeth and Iced Earth, and AHEAD of names like Exodus, Death Angel, WASP, Scorpions, TNT, Dio, and Mortification!  I, and many others, love what you are doing and continue to support you.  In fact, as soon as I get a copy of Live 2005 to review, I plan to make it the CMR's Featured Album on www.christianmetalrealm.com.  Can't wait to hear new stuff and all the live stuff!  God bless! Arttie

Hi Josh, I received the Live in Germany CD this morning, Outstanding!! You definitely had a great band performing with you. I received The Mark last week and haven't stop listening to it. Gog & Magog I love. The 7th Trumpet I'm addicted to. My daughters enjoy He Reigns and that is something rare, enjoying SAINT songs. My older one love the lyrics. The music is way too heavy for her. She's into Jump 5, Rebecca St. James, that type of music style. I put up an Off Topic Post on the Stryper Forum regarding The Mark with a Saintsite link. I hope Mr. Lynch has a good response. Have you ever heard of a guitar master called Frank Marino and his band Mahogany Rush? He has been around from the late 60's. I asked Pastor Brad if he has ever heard about him & he has not. From Alex Lifeson/RUSH to Pink Floyd's David Gilmour he has been called the master of all guitarists. He has sold millions of records worldwide The British refer to him as the recreation of Jimi Hendrix. He is from my beautiful city of Montreal,Canada. He is also Italian-Canadian like myself.....not that you care, but I had to put that in. He is a Canadian Icon. Well, TO GOD BE THE GLORY HE HAS FOUND JESUS. This is taken from the liner notes from his CD Eye Of The Storm in where he confesses his Christianity. If you don't know him I hope you will give him a listen. I'm sure Dee Harrington, John Mahan or Jerry Johson have heard of him. Sorry I have taken up your time.Thank-You for the gifts that you sent me along with the CD. - GOD BLESS, Joe   frank marino is amazing.  i had a theorybook of his. thank you for your mail....thank you for putting the good word out there.   i sent a copy of your letter to the mr saint fan site.  thanx again...josh

josh, i was wondering if the Beyond the Basement Tapes disc plays on a regular cd player? thanks, terry

terry,  the Beyond the Basement Tapes are made as data files in folders.  they play but sometimes the trax start late or end abruptly.   they are in file folders and work best in your computer. you can make your own audio discs if you have a cd burning program in your pc.  that's what i do.  very good that you asked.   josh

Josh...  Just got done listening to all of those tracks that you sent me!  AWESOME stuff, Josh!  I honestly don't think you have sounded better.  The maturity of your voice far outshines any range limitations you think you might have encountered as you have gotten older.  Great stuff, bro!  Can you give me an address that I can order this and your live in Germany CD's from?  I need to get you some money as soon as I can.  I would like to make The Mark the featured CD on www.christianmetalrealm.com as soon as I can.  God bless! - Arttie JOSH, ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!  THIS IS BY FAR YOUR BEST CD. I'M SOO EXCITED,    HEARING YOUR VOCAL'S THAT'S JUST SAY I'M GLAD TO BE A SAINT FAN. AWESOME ! IS ALL I CAN SAY.  GREAT JOB GUYS ! YOUR BRO IN CHRIST - BRYAN

bryan, thanx man you bless my heart bro.  germany live headed our way as i speak.  it was a great show and i'd love to share it with you.  it'l be available through my personal sites listed in my personal signature. .....joshHey Josh and Rich, I am really looking forward to The Mark!  I am anticipating something big!  From what I have heard on the Saint site, it's the heaviest Saint to date.  Thanx for signing it too.  You guys are great! From what I can see, the title is from the mark of the beast.  And the cover is really intense.  I brought it to church (I printed it), and one woman said, "You can't possible tell me that is a christian album."  I told her this will grab the metal head.  So, could you guys explain the cover?  Whose idea was it?  Also, in case you guys didn't know, every summer in this town we have a christian music fest called Unity.  We have just about every style of music.  Would you guys be interested in being part of it?  Gary we've been known to raise the bar. we've been getting criticism about the covers since the first warriors debut. let em gripe.  the griping complainers are not our audience.   it's been said that those who play it safe, never make history.    the fest would have to pay for all members to fly and accommodate.  huge expense.  on a regular tour things like this can be possible but it may be a ways off depending on our sales.  thanx bro...hjk

hello josh kramer, i'm patrick and im trying to write a song.  what do your songs come from. patrick.   i just returned from germany and i had an experience that was profoundly inspirational for a new song.   it was born from a medieval experience combined with many visits to ancient buildings in germany.   the song full armor was born from the frustrations of struggling with day to day stress piled on me by life in the middle lane trying to keep up with the pace of modern day insane money making pressures.  reminded to do the right thing when material lusts come knocking.   i heard that a secular successful song writer was secretly duped into arranged relationships by his record company.  the girls would make him fall in love with them and then break his heart because he wrote his best material on the rebound from a relationship gone south.   how's that for cruel?.   often times for the believer a song is from the heart and personal life experiences.  i hope that sheds some light for you.   i'll give this letter to mr saint fan for the web site because your question is a good one....god bless bro.......josh

Hi,One of the reasons I got into SAINT is because they pressed their 4 albums on a 2cd collection and they are a white metal band, so I decieded to purchase the cds.Well a few days latter I just had to get IN THE BATTLE and finally W.O.S new edition cd. I had heard of SAINT but had no idea how outstanding they are. It does not get any better than this.RICHARD LYNCH is by far the best bassist in heavy metal. I hope they stay together for many years to come.  GOD BLESS.... JOHN 3:16 - Joe
Hi Josh, Man, that’s so cool of you to do this. I don’t know what to say other than thank you. We have a 45 minute set and we’ll figure out where to put “In the Night” in the set list. I’ve only told the other guitarist Justin about your guest spot with Tykkus, he’s really jazzed! I’m sad to say that while the other band members have Saint CDs, I’m the only one in the group that can play most of your tunes on guitar from the Time’s End and Too Late for Living releases. At practice I’ll jump into one of the Saint tunes and see how far they go. Space Cruiser would be a blast to play! Are you flying into Anaheim or are you driving down? I believe the Tykkus mob is heading out Friday morning so we can get checked into our rooms and relax a bit and hook up with some of the other bands and fellowship. Saturday morning we’ll head down to the facility and get our gear out and up on stage. I’m not sure if the time slots are going to be set in stone or if Bill at Roxx Productions will make adjustments. I’ll email him and let him know about your guest appearance with Tykkus. He will flip! The Lord will bless it big time!
By the way Josh, my wife and I were in Oregon a few weeks ago and spent the night in Salem. I wish I had got your phone number but we didn’t know we were spending the night up there. We were on vacation and on our way to Seattle to catch our Princess Cruise to Alaska. That was just spectacular. We did the seven day Inside Passage deal and it was so beautiful. When we got back to Seattle a week later, we spent a few days in Seattle to see the July fireworks show and just check out the sites. We headed back through Oregon but went down the coast line. We stayed in Sea Side for the night and just made our way down the coast and over to Crater Lake. Oregon is a very beautiful state. I thought it was neat that they pump your gas in that state! J  It’s all self serve here in Phoenix. Anyway I looked in a phone book at the Phoenix Hotel where we stayed and struck out. Salem is pretty spread out and it’s a nice city. We found the Wal-Mart by the airport by the way! LOL!
Well, Tykkus has a bunch of shows lined up for August. We’ll be playing at the Acme Roadhouse in down town Tempe by ASU this Saturday. Then we’ll be over at the Warehouse in Scottsdale Friday August 19th, and then over to “Up From the Ashes” on the 27th in Anaheim.  The Lord is blessing our efforts and we are thankful. September through November will be busy as well. I hope the Saint machine is staying busy and blessed as well Josh. Other than that please stay in touch and I am looking so forward in meeting you.  Hey bring some Saint shirts and hats and other Saint goodies. I love your band and I’ll be more than happy to buy you stuff and support you guys. Or we could swap a Tykkus shirt for a Saint shirt on stage in sweat! lol!
Take care Josh and know we love and support Saint. You guys are in our prayers.
Love in Christ,
Dale J
Hello Josh! There are a couple of reasons that I am writing to you. First and foremost, I wanted to sincerely thank you. I am the fiance of Darren, and he's one of your biggest fans. When you correspond with him, it brightens his day. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your time in responding to the many emails that you must receive daily.  The other reason that I am writing to you is about the upcoming concert in August in California. Due to financial difficulties I am unable to come to the concert with Darren. It's very upsetting to me because I will be unable to share the most exciting event in his lifetime. He grew up with Saint and the others that will be present that weekend. He is very excited to go. It's all he talks about and I wish with all my heart that I could be with him. But since I am unable to attend, I was wondering if you could do something for me. I have been saving money here and there to buy Darren a Flying V guitar. Now I know I could use the money to get a plane ticket to fly with him, but he's really been wanting a new guitar. His old one is just that....old. It doesn't work as well as it used to. I was wondering if you and the band could sign it if I shipped it out to you. I will send paint markers and a note from myself to Darren along with it. I thought it would be neat if after the concert, you would present it to him for me. Though I cannot be there physically to enjoy this momentous occassion, I want him to know that I am with him spiritually, as always. I know that you are very busy now with the concert only a couple of months away, so if you cannot do this for me, I completely understand. But I couldn't live with myself if I didn't at least try. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can do this so I can get everything prepared. Just respond to this email so it will come directly to me at work. Thank you so much for your time and God Bless! The fiance of one of your biggest fans, Kerri
Hey Josh , just a quick note to let you know I have a new email addy.  If you dont remember me , I am the guy who lives up in Molalla Oregon . Only a couple miles east of woodburn . Anyway I am happy to hear of saints plans to perform . The beyond the Mt. festival sounds like its gonna ROCK !!!!! Also the new album is awesome ! Your friend, Roger
hi roger.  of course i remember you.  dude when we play here in the n.w. please come and rock with us. k? for updates go to saint site.    i am giving you my nicolas poster and the press release from my publisher.   check it out if time allows.  let me know your thotz on it all.   your opinions mean everything.   also if you want to hear my recording with liberty and justice go to the link below at 3 chords records.   laterz...........hjk

My name is Todd Richmond and I am a huge Saint fan! I just learned more about all that you have been doing musically. I just want to say first that you guys are awesome. Thank you!  I absolutely love the Too Late For Living album and just recently  (today! LOL) purchased the collection cd! I am very excited to see how the Lord is still using Saint, and am very glad to see that you are going to be doing more stuff! I plan on getting a few more of your albums in the future and want to tell you to keep up the good work. You guys really were and ARE great musicians! You're very kind to say so.  Will you ever be coming out to Indiana on a tour sometime? I live close to Chicago on the North West side of IN. I heard you might be at Cornerstone Festival this year but am not sure that I will be able to make that one. It is a total shame! But am wondering if you will be doing anymore concerts this way anytime soon. Cornerstone would have to fly us there on their (your) request only.  it is  $2,000+  bucks to do the gig in cost and we can't afford to pay to play any more.  if there is at least 500 people who feel as you do we would be able to fly in to your area and do a show if all accommodations were taken care of.  as far as a tour, due to family commitments, Rich is unable to do extensive tours unless he can bring his wife and kid.  (oh no they just got a dog and already have a cat. more complications.) along. We have jobs that we are committed to and going away would be the demise of our good day jobs so we would have to know that it would be worth the risk of losing our very decent hard to find day jobs. Either way, keep God first and keep Rockin! You really do have talent and I absolutely love your music. I keep taking my old Too Late For Living Tape to work and listening to it! LOL! I have actually turned a bunch of people on to you guys through the tape. Now I am just excited to see what else you guys have up your sleeve! Well, God bless and thank you for the hard hitting music and lyrics! We need more straight forward truth! Todd, I enjoyed your letter so much I would like to post it in the "Mr. Saint Fan Site.  Thank you!.  God bless you......josh

Dear Josh, I would like to thank you for the invitation for backstage passes to your concert when you come to this part of the country. This is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to just see you guys in concert for 20 years and never thought that would happen. But to actually meet you guys, is a blessing from God. I really don't want to sound like a groupy, after all I am 45 years old, but I still think you are the best Christian metal band in the world.  Please tell me some of the bands that you listen to? Who were the bands that influinced your music? You definatly have a Judas Priest sound to your music. Some of the bands i listen to are Bride, Mastedon, Whitecross, Deliverance, Barren Cross, Sacred Warrior, Neon Cross, In 3D, Jerusalem, Daniel Band, Daniel Amos, Undercover, Messiah Prophet, Allies, and Mark Farner. As you can tell these bands are all from the 80's. I still think this was the golden age of Christian metal. I now listen to some Russian Christian music because of my friends. They are not metal but have a very nice sound to them. When i get the names of these bands i send them to you. I think you would like them as much as i do. Like I told you before I dont understand the words but the music is nice. I have a neighbor who lives 2 doors down. We had talked to them for over 2 years on and off but had never really been close friends. They worked for the same company until they both got laid off at the same time. I think they paniced a little and sought a way out of their dillema. Well they turned their life over to the Lord. Now my wife and I talk to them about what the Lord has done for us. They are very excited about Jesus and share with us what he is doing in their life. I wasn't sure what kind of music they listened to, so i made a recording of your cd Warriors of the Son, and Times End. I hate to admit to you that i did the recording, but i saw an opening to further your minestry to new Christians, I would gladly send you the money for the cd if you need it. Just say the word and i will, I do not want to cheat you out of money to help your ministry. Anyways they were not crazy about the music but their son who is 15 loved it. Your Music is now touching another generation. You will probably here from him soon. When I told them about the letter you sent me he wanted to come with me to meet you also. Keep up the good work God has sent you to do. If you ever think you are not reaching the right people remember this kid, you just have to reach 1 person.  Hope to see you on tour soon. Love in the Lord, Bob

Josh, The metal scene has been dead out here since the early 90's. Just you guys, Bride, & Stryper are the only bands that are around today that was around back then. Bride is the longest-lasting Christian rock band that never broke up & they're already going to do another album. Anyway, thanks for the setlist. Can somebody please tape at least 1 of your shows & I'd buy it from you.  Talk to you later...............Tim   tim, i am definately going to make a compilation recording of our shows here in germany.  the shows were very good.  i'll pick out the best trax and make the compilation germany gig cdr.   with the live cd i will include my book paperback and mp3 disc.  which is updated with better production, normalized trax, more effects, new music and improved acting parts.   you got the prototype which is good but the new one is much better.  i want to express my gratitude to you for your continued support tim.   god bless you my brother.........josh....hjk

I know this may be a crazy long shot thing...and you will probably laugh, But I'm a drummer of 20+ years and if you ever need a drummer in a pinch, let me know...<grins> ok, now we have that out of the way....I just wanted to say that I have been a fan of Saint for a long time, and really enjoy your music. It blesses me everytime I listen to it. Thank you so much for trusting Christ in what you do, and letting him lead you. Keep up the great work! I'm behind you all the way! God Bless you guys!!! Roman

Just a quick note to say that your music has impacted my life, and I'm tremendously glad to hear that your back. I'm sorry to hear that you'd taken quite a rough road to recovery, but rejoice to hear of your restoration to His fellowship. Might this occasion call for a revised rendition of "Back In Black" but rather with the lyrics "I'm Back On Track"? Or perhaps you could find the original singer of X-Sinner to join you for a parody of "For Those About To Rock," changed to the chorus of,"For Those Upon The Rock, We Salute You!" (Not to say that you need that singer's assistance; you totally rock! It's just that he has the Brian Johnson sound). In any case, Josh, I appreciate you, bro. I'll be picking up a copy of the latest release and the newly recorded "Warriors" CD soon.  Hi Josh, I don't know if you remember me or not, but my name is Jeff and I used to write to you under the name MetalJax777. of course i remember you!   I don't have that address anymore, but use this one now. I just ordered the 20th anniversary edition of Warriors of the Son. I can't wait to get it. I am so excited to see you keep on making music.  I love the one new (old) song, Killers, Destroyers!! It sounds like classic Saint.  thank you.  Killers, Destroyers seems to be the going favorite.  for me,  it is a toss up between warriors,  k and d, abyss, and the reaper on this album.  plan 2 is a lot more fun to listen to also.  I have heard that you are working on a new Studio album, a follow up to In The Battle (one of the best metal discs released in the last 10 years, in my opinion).  you're very kind to say so!  Is there any truth to that?  yes!  If so, when are you going to have clips up on your website?  i'll surely let you be one of the first to know.  Do you know if you are going to be putting out T-shirts or posters? by all means!  My wall could definately use a Saint poster or two and you can't ever have too many metal t-shirts.  How is the Nick project going? I have the first part that you released on CD a while ago. I think I read that it is on hold for now, but I can't wait to hear the whole thing on audio disc. Congrats on getting it published as a book. That's very cool.  dude, this is tripping me out because last night while i was burning a stack of home baked cdr's of part 2,  i was flooded with the thought of the great timing of  sending out part 2 to everyone that has part one for christmas this year.   you do remember that you get part 2 free just because you have part 1, right?    please write and confirm your present address and it's on it's way  I can't wait to get the Warriors disc and look forward to more things from one of my favorite metal bands of all time. Rock On, Jeff

Josh (howard) Hi!, Hope things are going well, I heard you went out to Ill. hope that all went well. I spoke to Rich last sunday. seems that things are really moving along! You know, I heard that "Warriors 04" was Good but Man! That disc smokes!, And you can still scream!, wow! I was reading somewhere, that you would like to do a solo CD?, That would be cool!, you need to get your "musical" rocks off. (so to speak). Im sure Rich would be happy to help. he seems like a nice guy., Rich and I were talking about "Times end" being re-issued (the right way), he hates that live bootleg stuff!, I told him you guys should re-record 2-3 songs off "times end", or 1 new really "over the top" tune, to use as bonus tracks. That was just my idea, but Im not sure, "Times end" was/is a pretty smokin Cd on its own. but this current line up seems very, very capable!. Well, I wanted to say thanks to! for being a blessing. I make it a Habit to pray for you guys, and Saint as a band also. Im glad you guys are together again! I believe a miracle happened!, for all you guys! well, Im gonna go now.  God Bless You! And All that You Do! Marc  (Josh's reply) mark!  dude!  great of you to drop in.    your letter was a much needed jolt of humor.  call me howie or josh.   or howiejosh.   rich is going to assist me doing a solo project as is mike layne of 3 chord records.  mike is an amazing producer / engineer. i was so inspired by justin murr's project featuring a small community of players from the 80 bands, that now i want to do something similar. i'll preproduce a buncha stuff here with rich, then take the bun files to mike and do the final tweeking.   i'll incorporate a potporri (did i spell that right?) of players on the project from various bands.   i want to feature scott sifton, dee harrington, jerry johnson,  i'll even hunt down john mahan if i have to show up on hs door step myself with a cd burner,  a mic in my back pack nail his door shut, take the phone off the hook and record him in his living room..  i want to feature john perrine on drums,  possibly dean castranova on drums also...(i'm dreaming here now dude.  endulge me!) ....uh, oh yeah and my new friends  in germany who are in a new up comming gospel extreem thrash band called, "adorned graves"   these guys are really great players just starting out with rock solid testimonies for christ.   i love their garage recorded home made hand written demo.  even with all the mistakes and raw garage tones it really kicks out the jams.  almost reminicent of vengence rising before the falling out.  these guys are going to make it!  they have my endorsement and blessing!  i'll have rich and me on bass.  i'll mabey see if i can get jim laverde on bass too.  the bro's and my dear friends from neon cross,  . mabey see if my brother's and friend's  les carlson   and david safiro to do some guitar and vocal work  on  a track or 2. the bro's from messiah prophet, die happy,  i'll try to get as many of my brothers from current and bands past to be on this.  this will be a fun project how ever and who ever i get to perform on it.     josh

Hey bro. How's things going. I just listened to a clip of killers and destroyers off of the new Warriors of the Son. It sounds AWSOME!! You guys never cease to amaze me. You just keep crankin' out the good tunes:-). I really hope yall haven't already come to south carolina. I know I was out of touch with you for a while so if you did I missed you guys. It's cool if you have, I just hope you haven't. Have yall been anywhere close? Oh, I meant to tell ya dude, last month was my birthday. Oct. 23. I'm now 20! Me getting older, now thats a scary thought, lol.:-) Well bro. I guess I'll talk to ya later. You take it easy. Keep on rockin! See ya. Your freind and brother in Christ -Larry

Josh, I see how to order the new CD on the site, however.....any way to score one autographed by the band or at least more importantly by you ?? Thanks. ROKKEN RANDY Still Can't Stop The Rock In 2004 !

Dear Josh, I am very excited that Saint has a new CD coming out.  I listened to the MP3's of the new songs and, You still have it dude songs sound great.  I just ordered the Saint collection from Rich because, my cassette tapes died long ago. :)   I hope things work out for a Saint tour once the album is released .  Whatever God has in store for Saint, You're in my prayers. Tim

Josh, I remember 1985 at the Temple Theater in Tacoma, me and my 4 buddies came to see Rez we loved the concert but on the way home we left with vinyl and tapes of Saint. I still have them the Vinyl is in excellent shape as I played it once (to record it on cassette) that cassette melted in the sun on the front seat of a car I haven’t owned in years. All we talked about on the way back to Seattle was “that band Saint rocked!!!.” I still remember the opening riff of the opening song you guys played that night and that chill I got down my back from listening to Christian brothers that just shredded. Anyway all this talk of glory days just makes us both feel old so I’ll stop. One thing I read on your site that I love so much is integrity. Your site reeks of integrity all over and your desire to make everyone completely satisfied. You’re also open to suggestions, criticisms and praise. I admire you more than ever. I’m working on the finishing parts of a book that should be out in 2004. I’ll send you a copy when it’s out and I hope it’ll just be a partial payback for all the joy Saint has given me over the years.  God Bless You, Tracy

Sign me up for the preorder of the "In the Battle" package! I've been a fan of Saint since I first bought Warriors of the Son back in '85, so I would be getting this no matter what, but the way my bud David (King of Metal) has been raving about the song you sneaked him, I'm positively salivating to get my hands on it! You guys are gonna be causing a buzz when this  disc hits the streets! I'll place my order tomorrow I hope, and if anything comes with a signature on it, I would not complain. ;)  Nick

Josh Dude, I just listened to the samples at saintsite.com... WOW! Dude, this album is going to show the world why Saint is the greatest metal band ever! Your voice is SO POWERFUL! Rock on, man! Also, I'm glad to see the return of the spikes and leather! Ian

Tim

hi,mr.josh, hail again. i'm george from cyprus. first of all i wanna thank you for all the stuff you gave me with my last order. you are always special in my heart and your music means everthing for me. i wanna confess you, however, something that's a dream for me. i have all of your recordings except the first release on rotton records of "warriors of the son". having this album is something like a dream for me. i promised to myself that if i'm able to get this vinyl, i would made a tattoo with SAINT logo in my arm, to show my loyalty to your divine music. i hope and pray that you will be able to fullfill my dream, mr.josh! i wanna wish you all the best for the future and hopefully someday we will meet face to face. i can't wait for your reply!thanx for everything! best wishes george

hello george.  i remember you..  good to hear from you. wos  on vynal is extinct except for a rare ebay copy that shows up every now and then. rich created a project called the collection.   this  disc contains the wos album. the lp's are a fond memory any more.  miracles do happen.   look on ebay.  you might get lucky. god bless george. since you have almost all of saint's albums i will give you free downloads of the saint bio. i'm filling orders tomorrow night so i'll be sure to keep you on the top of the list......hjk
hail,mr.josh. thanx for the reply. as a saint maniac i own everything from you! i have WOS on vinyl but only the morada release. i still need the rotten records release.this is my dream. of course i have all the rereleases from mr.richard and from M8 also. and you gave me the basement tapes and the live in germany with the members of ivory night. your performance was great as usual and i'm enjoying very much the videos. i really can't wait for new saint release(the mark was on my top 3 for 2006!) and i will wait for all your news. as for the record, if i can't find it from you, i guess i will stop searching for it. i will never buy it from ebay. i learnt that i must FIRST support the bands and then all the others. after all, this is the meaning of loyalty and passion! you rule, you always ruled and you will continue to rule! hope that someday i'll catch you live! god bless george

first, can you tell me if the t-shirts are two sided?  second, can you tell me what the shipping charge is...  third...thank you for being in tune with God's Word. You among others planted the seed of God\'s Grace in me, and the Spirit took hold. I firmly believe that God was trying every angle to speak to me, and I ignored Him. So, in his infinite wisdom, He saw there was one language that I would pay the most attention to-the language of Heavy Metal. So he sent a Believer to share with me His Word, in Metal form. One of those tapes I was given so long ago was 'Too Late for Living'. Well, fast forward to 2000, May to be exact, and I made that bold step in faith and turned my life over to Jesus Christ. No, the music of Saint did not save me, it did point me in the right direction.  I write this to you specifically, Mr. Josh Kramer...as your \'Rob Halford\' like vocals captured my attention.  Let me say this too, ever since I came to know the Lord, and accept Jesus in my life, Heavy Metal became soooo much better.  I still to this day like/love the secular Metal of years gone by, make no mistake about it...but it (Metal) knows where its place is.  Saint is on my My Space page, I want to say that the band is in my top 24, so if you wish, you can reach me there.  Later, Germaniac!
germaniac, nice name.  thanks, i still get glassy eyed listening to dio and scorpions. as you know, we can't save anyone, that is god's job as you said well.  we just like to make lots of noise with a purpose for the kingdom of god and if it blesses our friends like you then all of the years of practice have been worth it and our mission is accomplished.  thanks for your great letter and giving us a place of honor in your "myspace" that is way too cool of you.  please reply or write in big 5  font letters, i'm getting a case of old mans tired eyes.  thanx...josh
ps, the saint bio including my book nicolas the legend in pdf will be available soon on line. i'll keep you posted, but not spammed.  free downloads of the bio and nick will be available to all customers of my personal site who buy any saint product from our music store on line at apologia...hjk

SAINT just could not be the same without you. I dreaded the day that I thought "TOO LATE FOR LIVING" was the end of SAINT, the band that introduced me to Jesus Christ and Some of the best music and vocals in metal that are still the best i have heard. I hope that there will be more of SAINT to come that has you on vocals. God bless you and your family in all you do in his name. Your BRO. in Christ, Travis
thank you bro for the compliment.  rich is going to sing on a song on next album.  you'll enjoy it.  he has improved greatly.  it will be a nice break in a show to have him sing one.  i'll play guitar live and back him vocally.  it will be fun.  god bless....josh...hjk

hail, mr.josh! i'm george,35,from cyprus. i ordered again from you the new live and the new cd-the mark, which is in my top 5 of the 2006! now i want to get the remastered version of warriors of the son, the headbanger's night (live in germany) and the apocalyptic metal t-shirt (XL).  please personalise for me these cds (like you did with the mark and live 2005 cds)! you're a great band and one of my all time favorites!  in case there are some other recordings (demos, rehearsals, lives) available i want to know it! and i pay for them of course! i have all of your releases in vinyl and cd!you rule! bands like yours are giving meaning to my life!  all the best for the future (maybe a new album!!!!!) - george

Josh, Great to see you have a new album out "The MarK". I have ordered a copy. Have you ever thought about Saint coming to play in Australia? Do you guys still wear the leather & studs? really coming back in fashion here.  I am applying for Mort to do a Live DVD at The AGMF Festival in Australia next year. Would you be interested in me applying for Saint to play at AGMF? It is Easter every year. First week of April. Maybe you could come to Melbourne first & do a show here? Let me know. Blessings - Steve  steve, so great to hear from you.    i am humbled and blessed that you are buying a copy.  i also  want to buy  your albums.  please send a link for purchases and a jpeg of you guys . i will also see that your link is put in my personal websites for you. http://www.saint777.net    http://www.mrsaintfan.freewebspace.com   yes we have gone totally retro and wear the leather and studs.  i found some killer motor cycle boots and strapped chains and attached my arm bands.  looks nice.  we would love to do shows in austrailia.  if the lord provides away, we will be there.  we would love to open for you. it would be a pleasure and an honor.    josh
Hello! I would be very thankful if you could remember to pray to Jesus for my mother, she has cancer, pray that she will be completely healed! I will be very thankful if you could remember to pray for my mother Ingrid then you say your prayers. She would be very happy to hear that you pray for her, she really like Saint and your heavy music! :) Thanks! Niklas
hey everyone  please lift up ingred anderson in our prayers for healing from cancer.  she loves to rock! thank you.......josh  -- Niklas,  she has my prayers dayly.  thank you for entrusting your most precious request to me.  i am honored.....hjk
Hi Josh, Long time no writing email to you, sorry about that!  I hope you're well as you read this!  Just to say that when I last wrote to you, I was doing a power metal show on Totalrock.  Well I've moved sideways so to speak and now Co-host on another show with a DJ called Pitbull which is equally great fun and what's more Pitbull is open to the idea of playing Christian metal, His attitude to it is if it's good then I'll play it which is so cool! So I'll be introducing more into the show now I'm established on the show! Yours Sincerely, God Bless, Toby
Hey Josh I am writing to you once again. You wanted everyone to be honest with you about your performance and the remake of Warriors. Well I have to tell ya when I want to hear Legions of the Dead I am going to pop in the first cd there is something about that crunchy recording that I like. It may because I have heard so much growing up that I don't want to hear any other way. I will still buy anything and everything you guy's put out. I recently have been playing the basement tapes you sent me on cd everyday back and forth to work. And that rift that Scott Sifton (I'm not sure that's the right spelling) plays in 1988 on turkey day WOW is that awesome it's short but that has to be one of the best and catchy tunes I've ever heard, and he is probably just goofing around!! Even though you guy's recorded onto a cassette tape I like to hear it raw even if you guys screw up it's fun hearing you guy's laugh. And when you did the song Cold Day on the cd I have I like it better on that one. I think you recorded again later and I think there is too much into it. I think just your voice and guitar is what is was meant to be for that song. I am excited to hear your side project with Scott I can't wait get it!!  Ok Josh keep going and don't give up. Your friend, -Darren
darren thank you for your input.  the cold day version you are refferring to is the excerpt from the audio book with dripping and sounds of torture etc.  in the play it is appropriate to have all of the sounds because there is a connection with the events but you are making a good point.  with outknowing what all of the other sounds are for it may leave the listener wondering..."what in the world is all that other noise?"   good point!   if you think that scott sifton tune is cool, wait till you hear what we are up to now.      i'll forward your letter to him.  he will be blessed to read it.  thanx darren..larerz..hjk
They say you can't improve a classic but, Saint sure has with the new version of the Warriors of The Son record. Since it arrived in my mail box today, Can't stop listening to it. thank you tim.   i really enjoy it too.  it is refreshing to hear our old songs played with the new line up.   Josh, I don't know if you remember me but, I'm Tim from Wisconsin my brother Erik has emailed you too before.  of coures i remember you dude.......   So, How are things working out for the band? Is Tim Lamberson in the band or just for the Warriors disk? Glad to see Dee is back as well. things are good with us.  we are selling quite a few albums and we have brothers like you to be there for us.  Well, I'm praying for you my brothers in Christ and metal hope to see you on the stage someday ministring to all us metal heads. God Bless, Tim   PS Good luck with Nicolas  we will be hitting the road in the spring / summer of 05.  where exactly, we can't say exactly.  especially thank you for blessing nicolas with your kind words.   he is under reconstruction with some great top notch professionals in voice over acting.  wait till you see the new artwork.     god bless............josh
