Josh Arrives!

     Germany was a dream come true for me and so many of my new friends over there.  These pics are of the 3rd and our best show recorded and released by Metal Stefan Lang.  This show was performed in Kuzel at the Head Bangers Night Festival.  Stefan Funded and organized my trip to Germany providing me with an apartment that was so big and beautiful, I almost got lost in it. They took me everywhere touring castles, many sights and fed me so well I gained 5 lbs.  You can really see it in my gut in some of the pictures I don't want to show for at least 5 more years.  
     The catering was out of this world at this show.  Our blessed dear promoters of this night spoiled us all rotten and made everyone's experience that day a successful, good and memorable one.  We went on at 9:00 pm before the Headliner act, Paragon.  God bless Germany. They have us (whole Saint band) slated to play again in 2007.  josh.....hjk

taking this time to finish my thought on live in germany; when i introduced "on the street", i said, "is it possible to have too much fun?" then we kicked off into the song.

it is appropriate to ask this question as so many people have experienced the street life after squandering valuable time having too much fun and losing everything to whatever fun was sought after...hjk

Olaf from Germany interviews Josh:

Hi Josh! Good to hear from you! olaf, i got pulled in every direction. Yeah I can imagine ! I saw it during the festival , there were several fans that tried to spend as much time with you as they could!  i would have been delighted to visit more with you.  Next time I have to show you the area I am living in, it is maybe a little bit different from what you saw. We have huge forests here and this part of Germany is pretty hilly ! Have to show you some pics!  check out the castle pics from my last visit.   give me your address so i can send a disc of a bunch of saint experiences and my photo album....

 


By the way we also have a castle , perfect for the making of a tradititional Heavy Metal video ! He ! He ! It is in the midst of the forest on a hill!  that would be great to shoot some video and still pics.  Next time i'm in germany we will spend more time.  Usually US citizens get not such a deep impact into German culture because most time they only visit several famous places but you almost lived a German life!  i feel more at home over there than i do over here.   i felt like i was going away to a far away place when i was returning to the u.s.  more about that later too.  Would be really cool to hear what you think?  did you enjoy the show?.....josh  YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ! It was awesome, so much Power so much emotion, really great!  awsome to hear that!  You know "Times End" was one of my first records and the SAINT songs in general will always have special place in my heart!  me too!  The only questions that comes into my mind when I think back is :  How will you get this Power on stage with only one guitar player in the US? I think SAINT is a double Axe Attack band , at least on stage! This is also an impression I got from the gig I saw!  we will have to pull a few rabbits out of our hat to accomplish this.   i get too distracted to play guitar and must focus on vocals.  still need to get the new live album!!  Keep In Touch! In Christ! Olaf  will do....josh.

Matthias informed me that you are confirmed for the KEEP IT TRUE Festival in April 2007! Thats really great, other bands would walk 1000 miles to play there! When you'll play over there, you are everywhere in the Metal-Press! And as you know, you have some helping hands & friends here, too. You see at the picture I've added to this email, that we had a little saint-party last weekend!  I'll keep you informed, when I'll get the finished live cds  - sometime in april. Greetings, Stefan
